GameStop Expecting Larger Wii Stock for the Holidays
If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on a Wii all of this time and have your goals set for the holidays, then perhaps GameStop might be a good first stop. The company has announced that they expect to receive a hefty quantity of Wii consoles this holiday season.
Bob McKenzie, senior vice president of merchandising for GameStop said the following, “Our look from Nintendo, though, is that it will be much, much better than it has been the last two years. I can’t say we will be in stock every day throughout the holiday season but I can tell you that the current flow we’ve seen coming from Nintendo on Wii hardware makes us very confident that we will meet the business model that we’ve got.”
The Wii is still selling like hotcakes. The company revealed that they “don’t know where the bottom is for the Wii because we can’t keep it on the shelves.”
